What types of shoes can I wear with this pedal?

The VFS-10 Fitness Pedal was designed to be compatible with any shoe / shoe size 6-15+.

No specialty shoe is required.

For optimal performance and safety, we recommend spinning with a sturdy shoe that has plenty of support.

True Release Technology in the VFS-10 allows you to pull your foot out in any direction, using any motion. The pedal will respond to any release motion and snap the cuff into an upright position, ensuring a quick and effortless release.

To remove your foot from the VFS-10 pedal, swiftly pull your foot out via the rear or forcefully slide your foot out the uncovered side of the pedal. 

To re-enter the pedal, simply place your foot back on the platform. No learning curved required. 

We offer two thread sizings, and one non-threaded shaft (Morse Taper), to ensure our pedal system can be retrofitted to every major category of bike (upright, recumbent, studio, road, mountain, beach cruiser, etc). 

Simply identify what type of thread size your bike requires and select either a 9/16" or 1/2" thread size, or if the end of the shaft has no threads at all, it is likely a Morse Taper shaft (used on certain spin bikes primarily).  

General use of 9/16": Standard thread, three-piece crank arm, most mountain bikes, most road bikes.

General use of 1/2": One-piece cranks, beach cruisers, some stationary bikes.

Can I use this pedal outdoors?

NO.

The VFS-10 Fitness Pedal was built with the indoor bike in mind, the pedal system is fully compatible with any Indoor stationary bicycle. If you chose to use the VFS-10 outdoors, it will void the warranty.

An outdoor version is under development.  We will be releasing the lighter and sleeker VTR-10 Trail and Road Pedal, designed specifically for outdoor use, soon.

No need. We designed the pedal to be completely universal, molding to the foot shape and size of any user. The VFS-10 completely eliminates the need for adjustments.

Vectus offers a 6 month guarantee on the VFS-10.

If there are any defects or issues with the mechanical workings of the pedal within the first 6 months, please contact Vectus Sport; we will walk you through the replacement process. Tampering with or disassembling the pedal will void the warranty. You can view the  full warranty here .

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 5-7 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout and will vary depending on location, order size, and type of shipment selected.

FedEx, UPS, and USPS  options include FedEx International, FedEx U.S., UPS U.S., UPS BE, USPS Domestic Flat Rate Envelope, and USPS International Flat Rate Box.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Vectus Sport is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Vectus Sport is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If your order arrived damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

The products may be returned unused and in sale-able condition up to 30 days after purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an e-mail to inform you whether your refund request has been approved or rejected.  Refunds will not be possible 90 days after purchase . 

If your request is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days. You will receive the amount of the purchase, minus shipping costs.

VTR-10 FAQ's

Not yet. Though we have developed a strong working prototype, there are critical features that we need to perfect and test before releasing the pedals for sale. We will be reporting back to this section, as well as the VTR-10 Product Section, to update you on our progress. Please check back often.

No. These pedals are designed for adult feet, sizes 4 and above. However, we are considering making a pedal specifically for children. Please check back often!

It all depends on how prominent your cleats are on the bottom of your shoes. If the cleats are fairly recessed, it should be fine, but you will have to take a test run to see for yourself.  We do not recommend using the VTR-10 pedals with riding shoes with cleats that stick out quite a bit, since the cleats could catch on the release trigger when pulling your foot out the back, preventing you from dismounting quickly.  You would have to push your foot out the side to avoid interference with the cleat.

Vectus offers a 90-day guarantee on the VTR-10.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  

Steps to initiate a return:        

1)   E-mail Vectus Sport at   support@vectussport.com.  Be sure to include a description of your product and the reason for your return, as well as whether you would like us to exchange, replace, or refund your purchase.  

2)   Upon receiving your e-mail and validating the request, Vectus Sport will e-mail you a shipping label for your return.   

3)  Drop your package off at your chosen shipping carrier and pay the shipping fee, unless prepaid shipping has been authorized by Vectus Sport (e.g. in the case of defective parts).

4)  Notify Vectus Sport of your return by e-mailing   support@vectussport.com.  Be sure to include proof of shipment or a tracking number.

5)  Upon receiving and validating your return, we will either exchange, replace, or refund your purchase.
